Julie Lavender
Julie is the author of 37 books, and they’re “all over the place” as far as genre and audience – and she loves that bit of trivia! Julie’s books fit into these categories: faith-based and general market, fiction and non-fiction, adult and children’s, educational and trade, Christian living and devotional, homeschool curriculum and general curriculum, traditionally published and self-published, holiday and year-round, and solo-authored and co-authored (with her hubby).
David earned his undergraduate degree in biology and a master's degree in microbiology. He served as a medical entomologist in the United States Navy for two decades, when he and Julie lived in various locations across the country. After retiring from active duty, David worked as a wildlife biologist at a nearby Army installation.
Julie and David have four children and are grandparents. In their most recent release, Raising Good Sons, readers will learn how to lean on God while raising boys who are not only resilient and morally grounded but also deeply rooted in their faith.
