Once registered, your critique partner will contact you via email, after which you email your work to your partner. After your partner reviews your work, they will return it with critique notes attached. At the workshop, you and your critique partner will connect for 15-20 minutes to review the work and notes together (if needed, you and your partner can set up a time outside the workshop to meet).
Each written work submitted is $45 in cash or a check made payable to the critique partner chosen on the workshop day OR the faculty member may also request to use their finance app information (such as PayPal). Your payment will go directly to the faculty member before the conference. If the faculty member has not received payment by the conference date—unless other arrangements have been made—they are not required to meet with you.
Once a faculty member has received as many critiques as they offered to take, we’ll note next to their name that they are no longer taking critiques.
